T-head method rebar was developed in collaboration with Shimizu Corporation as a an easier to use alternative to conventional hook-end rebar with T-head rebar, one end of the bar is heated using high frequency induction heating. Then the hot end is pressed to flatten and enlarge the diameter. The flattened end is then, placed over other rebar to form a reinforcement matrix.
Rebar supplied by customers, from all manufacturers, can be custom processed for use in reinforced concrete construction.
